School of Fish Policies

UPDATED Covid Safety Measures

*Please note that if anyone in the same household tests positive for Covid, lessons must be cancelled until all persons in the same household have tested negative. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this updated policy. We appreciate your understanding.

Lesson Billing

School of Fish uses the MindBody system for purchasing and booking lessons. Clients agree to be auto-billed every 4 lessons (for those that have consistent weekly lessons). All other clients may spot-book lessons individually.

If you need to early cancel a lesson you’ve already been billed for, it will go back into your account as a credit and be reused for your next scheduled lesson.

No refunds will be given once your auto-bill cycle has been processed. Spot booked lessons have a 6 mo expiration date from date of purchase.

Lesson Cancellation

Lessons must be cancelled 12 hours prior to your lesson start time to receive credit for the lesson. If cancelling after the 12 hour window, it will be considered a late cancel and the lesson will be forfeit. This applies to all lesson types, 1:1 and Parent Child.

If you’re cancelling a class in a Parent Child six-week session, you will be allowed one make-up opportunity within that same session if there is availability. Otherwise the lesson becomes forfeit. Make-ups are not guaranteed.

Lesson Relinquishment

Given the nature of the business and service provided, School of Fish reserves the right to reclaim a clients designated time slot if they consistently and/or frequently cancel their lessons.

End of Season

Please let School of Fish know when you anticipate ending your season so we can adjust your schedule accordingly. If you are charged and wish to discontinue lessons, please contact us within 48 hours of that charge so we may reverse it. No refunds will be given after 48 hours.

Weather

If there is inclement weather, School of Fish will notify you if there is a planned cancellation. If you do NOT hear from School of Fish, assume the lessons are ON as scheduled; regular cancellation policies will apply.

Accidents Happen

Sometimes accidents happen. If your child defecates in our pool, we must abide by at least a 24 hour closure for health and sanitation reasons and you will be responsible for the cleaning fees. The cost of these fees is usually around $300 per incident plus up to an additional $500 for lost revenue.

Quiet Please!

We appreciate parents wanting to be present during their child's lesson. However, it is crucial that there are no disruptions during the class. Please refrain from talking to your child or the instructor while lessons are being conducted. If something occurs during the lesson that you are concerned about, please discuss with the instructor AFTER the lesson has finished.
